Former Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin spoke of his desire to continue his performances in the “royal races”.
Mazepin in the 2021 season played for the American team Haas in Formula 1, finishing 21st in the final standings. In March 2022, it was announced that the team would end their partnership with him. At the same time, the rider was subject to EU sanctions.
– Difficult question. I can clearly tell you what I want, but we live in real life. I want to compete, I’m in good shape, at a good weight, I could come back. Otherwise, I have a job that brings pleasure.
– Do you set limits on your return?
– I’m 24 years old. I am healthy and fit. Until something changes, I don’t set myself limits. I think you have to live without limits, for there to be something to do,” Mazepin told on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
