Sainz finished second, Hamilton third
Max Verstappen from Red Bull became the winner of the race in the framework of Canadian Grand Prix.
The Dutchman won the race in Montreal, starting from first place in qualifying. The second place in Canada was taken by the Ferrari pilot, Carlos Sainz. The third was the Mercedes driver, Briton Lewis Hamiltonfourth – Hamilton’s teammate George Russell.
Ferrari Racer Charles Leclerc finished fifth, despite starting from the end of the grid due to a powerplant change on the car. Note that he failed to finish Sergio Perez from Red Bull – already on the 9th lap, the car’s engine failed.
Verstappen has won the fifth of the last six races this season. The triumph at the Canadian Grand Prix was the first in his career for the representative of the Netherlands.
The next Grand Prix will be held July 1-3 in the UK.
