The championship will start on March 2 in Bahrain and end on December 8 in Abu Dhabi
Formula 1 presented a calendar for 2024 season. A record 24 Grand Prix will be held in the Royal Races.
The championship will begin on March 2 in Bahrain. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will end the season on December 8th. It is noted that in the first two stages (in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia), the main races will be held on Saturday in connection with Ramadan. In all other cases, the Grand Prix Main Event will take place on Sundays.
The Chinese Grand Prix returns to the calendar, which was canceled for several previous seasons due to the pandemic. As previously reported, the South African Grand Prix will not take place – a return to the Kyalami track in Johannesburg is expected no earlier than 2025.
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is leading this season. The reigning world champion is ahead of teammate Sergio Perez by 81 points.
