According to a correspondent, the decision of the College of Sports Commissioners (KSK) of the rally-raid notes that Sotnikov’s car “does not have an individual certificate for the frame”. The fact was taken into account that all other necessary documents were submitted to the incoming technical inspection during its implementation, and the frame itself meets all the requirements.
– Based on this, the CSC of the competition decided to allow Sotnikov’s car to participate in the rally, the technical steward of the competition to make an appropriate entry in the sports technical passport of the car on the need to eliminate this violation, and also apply a pecuniary penalty in the amount of 15,000 rubles to master KAMAZ . The specified amount must be paid to the Russian Automobile Federation by 2:00 p.m. on July 13, 2023. In case of non-payment, the captain of the KAMAZ and the crew members under the control of Sotnikov will be temporarily disqualified until the specified monetary penalty is paid, as determined by CSC.
The first stage of the Silk Way Rally on the Kazan-Ufa route will take place on July 7. The total distance in 2023 will be 5,248 kilometers, including 2,277 kilometers of high-speed special stages.
