Russian crew Master KAMAZ governed by Andrei Karginov achieved the best time on the two stages of the fourth stage of the Silk Way rally-raid in the truck classification.
Karginov overcame the first special in 1 hour 18 minutes 59 seconds. The Belarusian crew of Sergei Vyazovich (+1.13, MAZ‑SPORTavto) finished second, Dmitry Sotnikov (+1.58) of KAMAZ‑master finished third.
On the second special, the result for Karginov’s crew was 50 minutes 47 seconds. He was 34 seconds ahead of Sotnikov, Vyazovich was 1 minute 10 seconds behind.
Andrey Rudskoy (G-Force, 1:22.41) led the off-road standings on the first stage, and Vladimir Vasiliev (VRT, 49.31) on the second.
Both special stages were won by the crew of Anastasia Nifontova (G-Drive Racing) for off-road vehicles, and Evgeniy Sukhovenko (LADA Sport ROSNEFT Raid) for production off-road vehicles.
The fifth stage of the Silk Road will take place on Tuesday, the route will go from Orenburg to Samara. The rally will end on July 15.
