The fifth stage of the Silk Way Rally on the Orenburg-Samara route was completed on Tuesday. The victory was won by the KAMAZ-master crew under the control of Eduard Nikolaev, he covered 226 kilometers in 2 hours 15 minutes 40 seconds. Viazovich lost a minute and a half, but continues to lead the truck standings.

They were going to change, but the instruments showed that there was still air. We decided to take a chance, because changing a wheel means wasting 6-8 minutes. We completely slowed down the pace: in the right-hand corners we had to come to an almost complete stop. As a result, Andrei was “given” two minutes without a protector, so the risk was justified, ”the correspondent reports, in the words of Vyazovich.
Eduard Nikolaev said he expects the weather conditions to change to rain and mud during the race.
