The crew of the KAMAZ-master team under the control of Andrei Karginov became the winner of the sixth stage of the Silk Way rally raid, the route of which went from Samara to Saratov.
Karginov’s time over two stage six special stages is 2 hours 29 minutes 37 seconds. The second result was shown by teammate Dmitry Sotnikov, the third was Belarusian Sergey Vyazovich from the MAZ‑SPORTavto team.
G‑Drive Racing’s Anastasia Nifontova won the mountain bike category, covering the distance in 2 hours 38 minutes 28 seconds. The second result was demonstrated by Sergey Karyakin (Snag Racing Team), the third – by Dmitry Mordkovich (TEAM MARIA OPARINA).
NG-Energo’s Andrey Rudskoy (2:35.12) celebrated victory in the SUV class on stage six. Aleksey Ignatov (GAZ Reid Sport) came second. VRT’s Vladimir Vasiliev finished third.
The seventh stage of the Silk Road will take place on Thursday, the route will go from Saratov to Volgograd. The rally will end on July 15.
