Nikolaev overcame the first special in 1 hour 31 minutes 53 seconds. The Belarusian crew of Sergei Vyazovich (+0.15, MAZ‑SPORTavto) finished second, Dmitry Sotnikov (+0.28) of KAMAZ‑master finished third.
On the second special, the result for Nikolaev’s crew was 2 hours 56 minutes 26 seconds. He was 3 minutes 40 seconds ahead of Vyazovich. The third was the Chinese pilot of master KAMAZ Hou Hongnin, who was 5 minutes 48 seconds behind. Sotnikov was fourth, 6 minutes 16 seconds behind.
The crew of Vladimir Vasilyev (VRT) won the two specials in all-terrain vehicles, Dmitry Mordkovich (TEAM MARIA OPARINA) won in mountain biking.
The eighth stage of the Silk Road will take place on Friday, July 14, the route will go from Volgograd to Lipetsk. The rally will end on July 15.
