F1: Fernando Alonso explains what happened in Australia

At the Australian Grand Prix, the third Formula 1 date of the year run this weekend, Fernando Alonso had ups and downs that prevented him from completing a good result.

It’s hard to qualify and race

After the qualifying crash that relegated him to tenth place, the Asturian decided to start with the hard tires and conditioned his approach since the first Safety Car came out it wouldn’t have entered the pits, because if he had chosen the mediums, he would not have reached the final.

“I’m speechless to be honest. It’s hard to accept how everyone’s going wrong, even though we’re only three races away and the championship is very long, so hopefully luck will return in some races.”Alonso commented on his present in F1.

On the other hand, Alonso pointed out that he could fight for the podium, if he didn’t make any mistakes in his approach. “I think we will have more luck soon, but at the moment we have lost to sixth position in Bahrain, another sixth or seventh in Saudi Arabia. With no problems on Saturday, the podium was very easy without Verstappen in the race.
