The path to F1: Alexander Bondarev received his first Superlicense points

Before the age of 18 you need to score 40 points

Recently, for the first time in the history of motorsport and Ukraine, the Formula 1 team signed a contract with a Ukrainian. After Alexander was accepted into the Williams Racing Driver Academy, the pilot began intensive work on his way to Formula.

To become a major league motorsport driver, you need to pass a certain test and receive a Super License. Each F1 driver must obtain an FIA Super License, issued by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile – this is a license consisting of certain clauses to be executed and entitling the driver to compete in Formula 1 competitions. The most important thing is that you need to be 18 years old and score 40 points.

Ukrainian rider Alexander Bondarev accumulated his first two points for winning the 2023 European Championships in the OKJ category in August.
