Pilot McLaren Oscar Piastri became the winner sprint qualifications within Qatar Grand Prix. The Australian was 0.082 s ahead of his teammate Lando Norris.
The third time was shown by the leader of the overall Formula 1 standings Max Verstappen from Red Bull. The Dutchman can early become the champion of the 2023 season if he finishes no lower than sixth place in the sprint.
George Russell (Mercedes) and Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc were also in the top 6 sprint qualifying.
The sprint race in Qatar will take place today, October 7. Starts at 20:30 Kyiv time.
The main race of the stage will take place on October 8 (20:00). The qualifying winner was Verstappen, 0.441 ahead of George Russell and 0.527 ahead of Lewis Hamilton.
