Russian runner Daniel Kvyat will take part in test races as part of the Super Formula championship, which will take place in Japan, reports Motorsport.
According to the source, the Russian driver will benefit from three days of testing with the Honda Nakajima Racing team. It is worth noting that it is possible that Kvyat will become a full-fledged Super Formula driver during the 2024 season.
The championship will take place from December 6 to 8. Super Formula is the premier formula racing division in Japan.
Kvyat competed in Formula 1 for Red Bull and Alfa Tauri (formerly Toro Rosso) in 2014-2017 and 2019-2020. He has previously participated in the NASCAR series. In March, Kvyat, as part of the Prema Racing team, became third at the first stage of the WEC World Championship in the LMP2 category in Sebring (USA).
