Pilot Ferrari Carlos Sainz became the winner British Grand Prix qualification. Spaniard for the first time in his career won pole position in Formula 1.
Sainz was 0.072 seconds ahead of the reigning world champion Max Verstappen from Red Bull. The Dutchman will start from second position.
Third time showed Charles Leclerc from Ferrari. The fourth was Sergio Perez from Red Bull. From the third row start Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Lando Norris (McLaren).
Note that pilot Williams Nicholas Latifi advanced to the final qualifying segment for the first time. He showed the tenth time.

The main race of the British Grand Prix will be held tomorrow, July 2. The beginning is at 17:00 Kyiv time.
Verstappen leads the overall Formula 1 standings. Max is 46 points ahead of his Red Bull team mate Perez.
