Next weekend in San Juan there will be the return of a figure from Argentine motorsports.
Agustín Canapino confirmed to Carburando that next weekend he will return to the Top Race after two and a half years, to run as Lucas Guerra’s guest, on a special date next weekend, in El Villicum, San Juan.
Who will be with Canapino?
As anticipated last week by carburando.com, the seven-time Top Race champion will be reunited with a very familiar environment: “I am very happy to return to a category that I have great affection for and that is very special to me for everything . he gave it to me in my sports career ”.
“I can’t deny Lucas, who is a friend, and I also really want to compete in the Top Race again. But the condition is they change the car model, ”said the man from Arrecife laughing.
The Halcón Motorsport team has already made the necessary changes and next weekend, Guerra and Canapino will compete in a Cruze Top Race.
Canapino’s last run in the category was on the final date of the 2019 championship, on Dec. 8 at the Autodromo de Nueve de Julio.
Canapino was already invited by Guerra on the third date of 2014, in San Luis, and both won the final of the Top Race Series. That season, Guerra won the divisional championship and both competed for the Sportteam team.
