Pilot and leader of the Belarusian team “MAZ-SPORTavto” Sergei Viazovitch told he had made it his mission to win the 2022 Silk Way rally-raid in the cargo standings.
The Silk Way Rally will take place from July 6 to 16, with a start in Astrakhan and a finish in Moscow. The total length will be 4380 kilometers, of which 2800 kilometers will be special stages.

I don’t know how much the KAMAZ-master guys have grown over the past year, having such a big rebound from Dakar and training camp. Unfortunately, we have no such role. But we are in a fighting mood, we want to win,” Vyazovich told .
– Will two crews be enough to fight for the top places?
– I think so. Of course, the more crews the better. But today our decision has more to do with supplying the required number of spare parts for two crews than with the insufficient number of three crews.

– Not. Everything is fine. Aleksey Vishnevsky has a completely new truck, it is no longer manufactured according to FIA regulations. We have already performed it on Bach “Archeda”.
– What tasks do you set for the race?
– The goal is to win. We have third and second places, it remains to take the first. We understand that the Silk Road is for us the biggest race of the year and we have no illusions about the Dakar. If something changes and we participate, so much the better! No therefore no. We’ve already missed the race in this one. So we have the maximum atmosphere for the Silk Road.
