Max Verstappen is in third position behind the two Ferrari drivers
Ferrari pilot Charles Leclerc won the qualification Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The Monegasque completed the third segment in 1:32.726 seconds and was 0.044 seconds ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz. Third place was taken by the current world champion Max Verstappen.
The top 10 included George Russell, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon, Logan Sargent, Valtteri Bottas, Kevin Magnussen and Fernando Alonso. Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez sensationally did not make it into the third qualifying segment. Also unexpectedly, both McLaren drivers LandoNorris and Oscar Piastri failed to overcome the first stage of qualifying.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix takes place on Sunday. The race starts at 8:00 Kyiv time.
