FIM Cross Country World Champion Anastasia Nifontova joked that participants of the Silk Way rally-raid would have to endure it by playing the violin.
The Silk Road will run from July 6 to July 16, starting in Astrakhan and ending in Moscow. The total length will be 4380 kilometers, of which 2800 kilometers will be special stages.
– I take the violin with me to all the races, it distracts me and prepares me for the race. I will please my neighbors in the bivouac, stock up on earplugs, ”Nifontova said at a press conference.
