Ukrainian karting driver Alexander Bondarev declared himself as one of the leaders of the OK category

This month, the Ukrainian competed in two stages of the international race of the WSK series – WSK Final Cup

In November, Ukrainian 14-year-old pilot Alexander Bondarev moved to the adult karting category and immediately established himself as a strong and worthy competitor.

Let us remind you that also this year the driver won the European champion title in the junior series and became a member of the Prema Racing team, which is the best team in the junior Formula series. And most importantly, for the first time in history, a Ukrainian was invited to the racing academy of the Williams Racing Formula 1 team.

Also on December 2, Alexander is invited to the annual FIA Karting Prize ceremony in Nice, during which the winners and prize-winners of world championships held by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) will be awarded. Bondarev will receive the 2023 European Champion Cup.

For almost three years, Alexander competed in the OK-Junior karting category, where pilots from 12 to 14 years old compete. During this time he grew as a true professional. Bondarev competes in the adult OK category, where riders from 14 years old compete. It is considered more difficult from a technical point of view, since it requires the pilot to work with the engine during the race, and more difficult in aerobatics.

This month, the Ukrainian competed in two stages of the international race of the WSK series – WSK Final Cup. The competition took place on the Italian tracks South Garda Karting and Franciacorta Karting Track.

In the OK category, where the Ukrainian pilot competes, 54 of the strongest and most professional racers from different parts of the world took part. Based on the results of two stages, Bondarev, competing with other participants who have been performing in this category for several years, took seventh place in the ranking.

Alexander Bondarev’s partner is the Favbet Foundation, a charitable foundation that deals with the younger generation and introduces initiatives in the field of education, health and sports development.
