Vettel to wear bee-themed helmet to Austrian Grand Prix

The German is constantly changing the design of his helmet in support of various projects.

Aston Martin racing driver Sebastian Vettel introduced a helmet for Austrian Grand Prixdedicated to bees.

The German pilot is the ambassador of the BEESandAPPLE environmental project. The main goal of the project is to preserve the habitat of bees as an important element of the biosphere.

Recall that during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Vettel was awarded a Ukrainian commemorative vyshyvanka. Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky stressed that Vettel had repeatedly spoken out in support of Ukraine during the war with Russia.

Vettel has previously stated that Formula 1 should help Ukrainians more with money. According to the German racer, “Russians are killing innocent people.”

Recall that Formula 1 terminated the contracts for showing races in Russia and holding the Russian Grand Prix. In addition, the Haas team announced the termination of the contract with the title sponsor Uralkali and Russian pilot Nikita Mazepin.

The main race of the Austrian Grand Prix will take place on July 10 at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.
