Arriving at Senna Institute
Motorsports is a sport that produces a lot of material for artists to express themselves, from cars, circuits or drivers ’life stories.
Daniela Montesano, plastic artist from Argentina, was at Escudería Carburando last year and told about her association with art. “I have always been associated with this sport. I love this”.
On how the possibility of bringing a painting of his property to the Brazilian folklore institute happened, Montesano said: “Everyone is so crazy. I arrived by mail. I remember one day I went to the Fangio Museum to take a painting by Juan Manuel and Ayrton and on that occasion I told my brother, “if we get to Fangio we have to get to Senna”. That’s where it came from heI wrote, from the heart, that email and told him I wanted to send them a painting. A part of the family answers me the next day after I write to them and they ask me for five paints ”.
