Former Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin took sixth place in the fifth stage of the Silk Way Rally Marathon in the MTB classification (T3).
Mazepin, playing for the SNAG Racing team, clocked 3 hours 19 minutes 51 seconds and lost nearly 21 minutes to the winner Anastasia Nifontova from G-Drive Motorace. GORBI’s Aleksey Cherkesov (+1.06) finished second, while Armen Puzyan (Nakusi, +2.36) finished third.
The length of the stage distance (Grozny – Grozny) was 298.5 km, of which 217.5 were special stages.
The “Silk Way” rally-raid will end in Moscow on July 16.
