This Wednesday at the Autodromo de La Plata, Guillermo Ortelli did his final rehearsal before he retired to La Pampa.
These are very emotional times for Chevrolet and Argentine motorsports fans in general. Next weekend at the Autodromo Provincia de La Pampa, in Toay, Guillermo Ortelli will run his last career in Turismo Carretera.
This is the test
The seven -time TC champion was on Wednesday at the Roberto Mouras Autodrome in La Plata holding a final rehearsal with the Chevrolet attended by JP Carrera who was driving in La Pampa. The unit was the one used by Santiago Mangoni until the end of the 2021 season and was specially prepared for Ortelli’s last career in TC.
In Wednesday’s test, Ortelli turned out from 1 p.m. for a 3 -hour term. He completed a total of 10 fastest laps and the best time he did was 1.26.2, which left Ortelli satisfied, despite the time, for the car’s overall performance.
