Pilot “KAMAZ-master” Dmitry Sotnikov said he encountered difficulties in the first part of the seventh stage of the Silk Way Rally Marathon.
Sotnikov covered the distance in 2 hours 52 minutes and 9 seconds.
— The first part of the special was very slippery, it was unpleasant. But then it got better, the rain stopped pouring. Everything was dry at the end. In the end, we left the road several times, there were inaccuracies in the navigation. We saw that Nikolaev arrived by car and before the finish line they let him pass. It is better to ride on dry roads, but on dirt roads it is difficult to control the truck. The equipment arrived intact,” Sotnikov said.
The “Silk Way” rally-raid will end in Moscow on July 16.
