Madrid will host the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035

The new route includes on-street and off-street sections

Madrid will accept Spanish Grand Prix V Formula 1 from 2026 to 2035. The management of the Royal Races has reached an agreement with the organizers from the capital of Spain.

The new track in Madrid runs around the IFEMA exhibition center (organizers of the Grand Prix). The length of the track will be 5,474 m, it will include 20 turns and will contain both street and off-street sections. Estimated lap time is 1:32.45 s.

Since 1991, the Spanish Grand Prix has been held at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. Also, Spain hosted the European Grand Prix from 2008 to 2012, which took place on the street circuit in Valencia.

Dutchman Max Verstappen became the Formula 1 champion last year for the third time in a row. The new season of the Royal Races starts on March 2 at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
