MSK rally team driver Denis Crotov told reporters that he had been experiencing pleasant emotions since the first victory in the Silk Way rally-raid.
– There were 2 minutes left with a slight difference with Vasiliev, and we understood that today would be such a short and incomprehensible day. But in the morning we started in a normal mood, we decided that we would go as we went, calmly, as usual, taking care of the material. At the very beginning it was very slippery for a kilometer, and we also went over the road on slippery grass, and saw cars and Volodya. We stopped, I showed that everything was fine and we continued. In general, everything is fine, Kostya was not mistaken today. Everything was interesting until the last day. Emotions are the most pleasant, we won the Silk Road for the first time,” Krotov said.
The 2022 Silk Way International Rally started in Astrakhan on July 7 and ends in Moscow.
