The Tourism Car Drivers Association has announced its sporting and technical regulations for the 2024 season.
National Tourism will begin its 2024 season on February 18 and The category has announced what will be its technical and sporting regulations for a new edition. It should be noted that the APAT will be reviewed this year by the CAF of the ACTC.

Referring to the most important changes in the Sports Regulations, it is worth highlighting:
Article No. 15 – Has a Weight Disability. The ballast will remain as a penalty, but its application will be changed starting this season, as the positions of the 2024 Championship will now be made the basis. For both classes, the top eight in each table will be penalized with handicap ballast. For Class 2, whoever sits in the first position will be penalized by 40 kilograms, and in Class 3, it will be 45 kilograms. Last year, the handicap ballast application was based on the result of the final test which was confirmed after the technical and sporting tests.
Another point that has been changed is the penalty for changing the engine and cylinder head (Article No. 16 of the RC), Starting this year, half a second will be added to the qualifying time if it’s an engine change, and 0s250/1000 if it’s a cylinder head change. If the engine change occurs after the series, you must start the last test in the last position.
The number of cars there will determine the number of qualifying series (Article 10.6 Qualifying Series), because from now on with 30 cars or less registered and qualified, there will be two qualifying series.
