In 2022, Alexander Bondarev won the WSK Super Master Series champion title in the OK Junior category
On January 25-28, the 15th season of the most prestigious WSK karting racing series, the WSK Super Master Series, started. The race consists of four classic rounds.
The first stage took place at the Italian track South Garda Karting in Lonato – a popular place for all young talents of world karting for 30 years. The series will then continue at two newly opened karting tracks in Franciacorta and Cremona, with the grand finale taking place at the Naples International Circuit.
In total, more than 330 of the world’s best karting drivers were registered. In the OK category, where Ukrainian pilot Alexander Bondarev is competing this year, 50 pilots from around the world took part.
On Friday, the Ukrainian racer took the lead in qualifying in his group and in the overall result. Subsequently, he won an unconditional victory in all three qualifying hits. And on Sunday, in the prefinal, Alexander also won with a margin of 6.259 seconds over his nearest opponent. Bondarek was the first to cross the finish line in the final.
