Werner recorded a time of 1m20s458 and is at the top of the classifier. Ardusso was just 10 thousandths behind with the Chevrolet and Gini was third with the Toyota at 43. While the best five were completed by Otto Fritzler’s Dodge and Julián Santero’s Ford.
Among the rookies, Facundo Chapur stood out placing sixth in the Dodge, a difference of 12 hundredths from polesitter Mariano Werner.
The action for Road Tourism in El Calafate will continue on Sunday at 10:05, 10:30 and 10:55, when the series begins.
