In the Supplementary Regulations of the event (RPP) he explained the most important part of refueling in the Final on Sunday.
In the RPP it was clarified that during the development of the Final test all pilots must recharge the drum with a minimum of fifteen (15) liters of fuel after completing the first lap of the competition with a pass completed on the track.
The fuel canister will be approved by the category, which must be sealed by technical supervisors before the final competition begins.
Refueling shall be carried out in the inner lane of the pit lane with approved elements for such procedure.
In addition, it is not possible to enter to refuel during a Safety Car intervention.
Only a maximum of two (2) persons, including one (1) signalman, plus one (1) person with a fire extinguisher may intervene in refueling. Two (2) collaborators interfering with refueling must wear flame retardant clothing (sweater, hood, gloves, helmet, all fireproof and safety or fireproof shoes). The signalman will oversee the issuance of the order to stop and restart the march, after refueling, and should allow exit only in case another vehicle is not damaged. Throughout the stop, including recharging and eventual repair or replacement of the tire, the person authorized by the fire extinguisher must remain without performing any other work.
Throughout the refueling process, the car must be supported on its four (4) wheels. If during the stop you need to perform repair work and/or replace the tire, this can be done when the refueling is finished.
