In 2022, Alexander won the WSK Super Master Series champion title in the OK Junior category
Last weekend in Sarno, at the International Circuit Napoli, the final fourth round of the most prestigious WSK series took place – WSK Super Master Series. Ukrainian karting driver Alexander Bondarev competed in the OK category.
The Ukrainian became first in qualifying and first after three qualifying hits. The course of the pre-final and final was influenced by rain, which was accompanied by Saturday’s races.
In the prefinal, Alexander started first, then lap after lap there was constant contact fighting with his opponent, positions changed, and he managed to finish second. In the final, Bondarev also started first, but finished third.
The Ukrainian won third place in the fourth stage of the series. And according to the overall result, after four rounds, Alexander received second place in the fight for the WSK Super Master Series title.
Let us remind you that in 2022 Alexander won the WSK Super Master Series champion title in the OK Junior category. In 2024, the Ukrainian’s debut season in the OK category, Bondarev established himself as a strong and professional pilot. Next he is preparing for competitions at the European Championships, which will begin at the end of March.
