Verstappen qualified for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Leclerc second

Three-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen from Red Bull won qualifying Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Verstappen was 0.319 seconds ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Third place was taken by another Red Bull driver, Sergio Perez.

Also in the top 10 were Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), Oscar Piastri (McLaren), Lando Norris (McLaren), George Russell (Mercedes), Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Yuki Tsunoda (RB) and Lance Stroll (Aston Martin).

18-year-old Oliver Berman, who replaced Carlos Sainz in Ferrari, took 11th place. Let us remind you that the Spaniard missed qualifying due to health problems.

The main race of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place on Saturday, March 9. Starts at 19:00 Kyiv time.
