Charles Leclerc, driver of the Ferrari, was the victim of a theft in Darsena de Viareggio (located near Livorno, Italy) where a watch worth approximately 300,000 euros was snatched from his wrist.

The watch is the Richard Mille 67-02 customized in the colors of the Monaco flag, the brand that sponsored Scuderia in F1. A similar prototype was auctioned last year for 2 million euros, although it can be found on the market for approximately 300,000 euros.

The theft

Leclerc was with his personal trainer, Andrea Ferrari, when a fan approached him to take a photo. Suddenly the man took his watch and fled immediately, according to TGCOM24, the Mediaset news website.
