Former Formula 1 driver, Russian Nikita Mazepin will take part in the stage of the Russian Rally Raid Cup, according to the press service of race reports.

The first stage of the Russian Rally Raid Cup, the Baja “Archeda”, will take place from May 16 to 19 in the Volgograd region. In addition, the Baja “Archeda” will become the second stage of the Russian rally raid championship in the truck category. For the first time at the race, the UralMotorSport team will exhibit two Ural trucks: the drivers will be Yuri Naiman and Alexey Popov. Also present at the start will be three crews from the Russian KAMAZ-master team (drivers Eduard Nikolaev, Dmitry Sotnikov, Bogdan Karimov) and the Belarusian MAZ-SPORTauto team (drivers Sergey Vyazovich, Alexey Vishnevsky, Vitaly Murylev) and two GAZ crews. A total of 22 crews were entered for the Russian Cup stage and 10 crews were entered for the Russian Championship stage.
