Verstappen wins the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc took their places on the podium

Three-time world champion Max Verstappen became the winner Grand Prix of Emilia Romagna V Formula 1.

The Dutchman started from pole position and confidently held first place. In the final laps, Lando Norris in a McLaren began to approach the Red Bull driver. The Briton reduced the gap to less than one second, but did not have time to force a fight for victory.

Third place went to Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari. Next are Oscar Piastri (McLaren), Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), George Russell (Mercedes), Sergio Perez (Red Bull), Lance Stroll (Aston Martin) and Yuki Tsunoda (RB).

Verstappen strengthened his position on the first line of the individual World Championship standings. Leclerc, thanks to his podium finish, moved into second place, ahead of Perez.
