Former Formula 1 driver Kvyat finished tenth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The former Formula 1 driver’s crew Daniel Kvyat took 10th place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans of the World Endurance Championship (WEC).

Victory in the hypercar category was won by the Ferrari AF Corse team made up of Italian Antonio Fuoka, Spaniard Miguel Molina and Dane Niklas Nielsen.

Kvyat, alongside Italians Mirko Bortolotti and Edoardo Mortara, represented the Lamborghini Iron Lynx team and was two laps behind the winners.

The crew of former motorcycle racer Valentino Rossi, who competed in the LMGT3 category, retired due to the accident of his partner Ahmad Al-Harthi.

Kvyat competed in Formula 1 for Red Bull and Alpha Tauri (formerly Toro Rosso) in 2014-2017 and 2019-2020.
