Piastri and Sainz were also on the podium; season leader Verstappen finished fifth
Pilot Mercedes George Russell sensationally won Austrian Grand Prix.
The Briton started from third position, but the race victory was long contested by season leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and another British representative Lando Norris from McLaren.
However, towards the end of the race, a dramatic outcome occurred: Norris and Verstappen collided. As a result, Lando retired from the race, and Max was forced to pit. Russell took full advantage of the situation, taking the lead and maintaining the handicap until the finish.
In addition to George, Oscar Piastri (McLaren) and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) made it into the top three. The top ten included Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), the aforementioned Verstappen, Nico Hulkenberg (Haas), Sergio Perez (Red Bull), Kevin Magnussen (Haas), Daniel Ricciardo (RB) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine).
For 26-year-old Russell, this is only his second victory in seven seasons in Formula 1 and his 13th podium finish.
The next Grand Prix will take place in Great Britain on July 5-7.
