Russian crew “KAMAZ-master ” governed by Dmitry Sotnikov set the best time of the fourth stage of the Silk Way Rally in the truck category.
Sotnikov covered the 164.57 km special stage along the Gorno-Altaisk – Kosh-Agach route in 1 hour 37 minutes 43 seconds. Bogdan Karimov finished second (lag 1 minute 1 second; KAMAZ-master), Andrey Karginov finished third (lag 1 minute 45 seconds; KAMAZ-master).
The fifth stage with a 296.2 km special along the Kosh Agach – Khovd route will take place on July 9.
The Silk Road Rally crosses Russia and Mongolia and ends on July 15 in Ulaanbaatar. The total length of the race will be 5,243 km, the length of the special stages will be 2,992 km.
