— The stage is familiar to us, we have ridden it twice in 2021, so it did not bring us any surprises. The first part was very rocky, the ride was somehow uncomfortable, be careful. We knew that the second part would be fast, and that’s how it went. This year it was especially fast, no puddles, no mud, we just drove at maximum speed all the way. They understood that if in the first part they lost time on the stones, then there was no room to play further: just all the time at maximum speed. Sotnikov noted that he completed the course without a puncture.
— The section is rocky, the wheels generally held up well, although we boldly tried to cut: there were no options, we had to go straight. I had to remember how we ride on stones. Sergei Kupriyanov, driver of the KAMAZ-master team, expressed his satisfaction with the special stage.
— The stage is fast, interesting, beautiful. Again, I did not understand at what pace I was going, it seemed very fast. Then someone caught up with me, I overtook someone. The Silk Road Rally crosses Russia and Mongolia and ends on July 15 in Ulaanbaatar. The total length of the race will be 5,243 km, the length of the special stages will be 2,992 km.
