Russian crew Eduard Nikolayev of the team “KAMAZ-master ” became the winner of the eighth stage of the Silk Way rally marathon in the truck category.
Nikolaev covered the 314.08 km special stage in 4 hours 25 minutes 39 seconds.
The second place was taken by the Russian crew of the KAMAZ master under the control of Dmitry Karginov, who was 3 minutes and 36 seconds behind the winner; the third was another representative of the KAMAZ master, Dmitry Sotnikov (lag – 6 minutes and 16 seconds).
The ninth stage, which will be 422.69 km long, will take place on Saturday, July 13.
The Silk Road Rally ends on July 15 in Mongolia’s capital, Ulaanbaatar.
