Pilot McLaren Oscar Piastri became the winner Hungarian Grand Prix. For the 23-year-old Australian, this victory was his first in Formula 1.

Piastri’s McLaren teammate Lando Norris finished second, while Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, who won the Grand Prix on his home track in Great Britain two weeks ago, finished third.

Also in the top 10 following the Hungarian Grand Prix were: Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), Sergio Perez (Red Bull), George Russell (Mercedes), Yuki Tsunoda (RB), Lance Stroll (Aston Martin).

McLaren, for the first time since 2021, made a double (both its drivers finished in first and second positions). In the overall standings, Max Verstappen continues to confidently lead – the Red Bull driver has 265 points. The gap behind him has been reduced by McLaren driver Lando Norris, who now has 189 points, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc is third – he has 165 points.
