Before making his Formula 1 debut with Williams, the Argentine driver once again had a happy moment with the DAZN reporter.

Franco Colapinto had his official debut as a Formula 1 driver driving a Williams FW46. However, before going to the track, he has already gained attention for a strange interview he gave on Thursday at a press conference. The young pilot of Argentina He crossed paths with journalist Christine GZ, whom he met again in the paddock on Fridayhours before participating in the first practice of the Italian GP.

Pilot and DAZN journalist Christine Giampaoli Zonca recounts what happened when they met again after the note went viral. “I said to him: ‘Hey, you messed me up.’ He was very kind because he replied: ‘I just told the truth.’ Then he told me that we will take pictures, selfies, to break the networks and that my masters here will be happy”said the 31-year-old driver, who participated in the 2024 Dakar Rally and currently covers Formula 1 in Monza as a special envoy, laughing.

It all started on Thursday, when Christine asked Colapinto, 21, if he was feeling up “in a cloud” for his upcoming debut in the top category of motorsport. The now former MP Motorsport F2 driver did not hesitate to respond: “Yeah, I’m on cloud nine… Thanks for letting me know! I really want you to interview me. They told me that you are very funny, very funnyso I want to have a few laughs in the paddock”.

Christine, for her part, admits to having seen several interviews with the Argentine, who has gone viral on other occasions for his friendliness in front of the cameras: “Thank you. However, this is not Colapinto’s only viral moment in recent times.
