Norris is the sprint winner at the Brazilian Grand Prix, Piastri and Verstappen are in the top 3

Lando is two points closer to Max in the individual competition

Pilot McLaren Lando Norris became the winner sprint race on Brazilian Grand Prix V Formula 1.

For a significant part of the distance, the peloton was led by the Briton’s teammate Oscar Piastri, who had previously won the sprint qualification in Sao Paulo. However, shortly before the finish, Norris managed to take the lead.

Overall leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull) during the race managed to get ahead of Charles Leclerc from Ferrari in the fight for 3rd place. On the last lap, the champion forced Piastri to fight, but the Australian managed to retain second position.

Also finishing in the scoring zone were: Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), George Russell (Mercedes), Pierre Gasly (Alpin) and Sergio Perez (Red Bull).

Thanks to today’s success, Norris managed to reduce the gap over Verstappen in the individual competition by two points, but the Dutchman’s advantage is still large – 45 points.

Let us remind you that the current champion and championship leader at the main race, the Brazilian Grand Prix, will receive a penalty of five places on the starting grid due to an engine change.

Tonight, at 20:00, qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix will take place. The main race will take place on Sunday and starts at 19:00.
