Norris won long-suffering qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix

The session was interrupted by red flags five times due to rider accidents.

Pilot McLaren Lando Norris won a dramatic qualification for Brazilian Grand Prix V Formula 1.

Let us remind you that the qualification itself was postponed from Saturday to Sunday morning due to heavy rain at the Interlagos circuit. The rain continued on Sunday, with varying degrees of rain, causing conditions on the track to constantly change.

The qualification itself lasted almost two hours. The session was interrupted by red flags five times due to rider accidents. Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso, Alex Albon and others crashed their cars at different times.

In the end, Norris posted a best time of 1:23.405. Next are located George Russell (Mercedes) and Yuki Tsunoda (RB). The top ten included Esteban Ocon (Alpin), Liam Lawson (RB), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Alex Albon (Williams), Oscar Piastri (McLaren), Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) and Lance Stroll (Aston Martin).

Lewis Hamilton failed to qualify and did not qualify for the second session. Championship leader Max Verstappen showed only the 12th result, and will have to start from 17th place due to an engine change.

The Brazilian Grand Prix will also take place on Sunday. The start is scheduled for 17:30 Kyiv time.
