Minister of Sports of Russia Mikhail Degtiarev said that the Silk Road Rally Marathon in 2025, as before, will promote the development of international sports cooperation.
The presentation of the route of the 15th edition of the International Silk Road Rally took place on Friday. The race will take place across Russia and Mongolia. The departure ceremony will take place in Irkutsk on July 12, the arrival is planned in Gorno-Altaisk on July 22. The stages of the rally will pass through Baikalsk, Ulan-Ude, Ulaanbaatar, Bayanhongor, Altai, Khovd and Kosh-Agach.

There is no other race in the world where the route changes every year and where participants compete in different climatic zones and on different surfaces. The total distance of the Silk Way Rally Marathon in 2025 will be approximately 5,000 kilometers, including 2,500 on high-speed special stages.
