Daniel Kvyat had his second race in NASCAR. Russian driver Hezeberg took 36th place at one of the most famous circuits in the United States, Watkins Glen.
Kvyat suffered technical problems during the race, eventually falling 32 laps behind the leader. Kyle Larson won, AJ Allmendinger came second and Joey Logano rounded out the top three.
2007 Formula 1 champion Kimi Raikkonen also took part in the race. A Finnish racing driver left the track after an accident.
