The Secretary of State explained that “for Christmas we will have a reinforcement of service personnel and assistance vehicles on the road, in addition to preventive and emergency patrols. In the meantime, for the new year we will apply traditional measures, such as: toll in Luca, reduction of fares for trucks and 3×1 in the case of route 68 Valparaíso – Santiago, to facilitate the return to the capital.

For New Year’s Eve, there will be a toll for Luca for departure on Friday 29 and Saturday 30, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the tolls: Angostura (Route 5 South), Las Vegas (Route 5 North) and Lo Prado and Zapata ( Route 68). There will also be a reduced toll of 50% for trucks for departure on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 from 00:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at the Angostura (Route 5 South), Las Vegas (Route 5 North) and Lo Prado tollbooths and Zapata (Route 68).
