The Argentine national team won the tournament for the third time in a row, after defeating New Zealand in the final.

Argentina reached their 18th victory and are in position undefeated in the Vancouver Sevens (17 wins and one draw). The last loss at BC Place Stadium was on March 10, 2019, in the Silver Cup semifinals against New Zealand 26-21.
