Shapovalov feared Rome and insulted the public!

The Canadian tennis player couldn’t stand the whistles of the people, he exploded against them and even asked to be kicked off the court.

If there’s one thing that historically characterizes tennis, it’s chivalry, but when it doesn’t happen, the public lets it know. Denis Shapovalov was heavily criticized by spectators at the Masters 1000 in Rome for claiming a point they didn’t give him, moreover there was no better idea the Canadian had than insulting those present: “Shut the fuck up …”.

Shapovalov faced local Lorenzo Sonego for the first round of the Roman tournament, where he ended up winning 7-6, 3-6, 6-3. The Canadian, currently ranked 16th in the world, received a penalty point for jumping into the net to show the umpire the score of the doubtful ball he claimedsomething forbidden in tennis.

“I’m just showing you the mark”, the player complained and the referee informed him that the penalty was in accordance with the regulations. His reaction was angry: “No, it’s not a rule … It’s stupid”. That blew the whistle from the public, to which the Canadian again responded in the worst way: “Shut the fuck up”. The video quickly went viral on social media.
