In a family of tennis players Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina daughter was born. The athletes announced it on their social networks.
Ukrainian and French got married in July 2021. This child was the couple’s first, the girl’s name was Sky.
“It was the most amazing evening of my life. It ended with the most beautiful gift around 6:00 am. Elina was strong and brave. I cannot express how grateful I am to my wife and God for this special moment. Welcome to the world my little princess Skye,” Gael wrote.
– What a night! Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Sky Monfils. I can’t thank my husband enough for spending this unforgettable time with me,” Elina wrote.
Former world number 6 Monfils has won 11 ATP singles tournaments.
Svitolina is the winner of 18 WTA tournaments and the bronze medalist of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
