In the quarterfinals, Zverev defeated Chilean Kristian Garin with the score 7:5, 6:2.
It should be noted that Alexander has not yet won any tournaments this season.
“This match was at a high level. Sometimes our tennis was not beautiful, but I did my job, and that’s the main thing. I reached the semi-finals of the tournament, I’m happy to managed to do it,” Zverev said after the game.

Zverev’s next opponent will be either Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas or Italian Yannick Sinner.
